Salvia Apiana is native to Central- and South America and is used for food and therapeutic purposes around the globe. Known for it’s antibacterial properties, it is often used to create ‘smudge sticks’ for cleaning areas, homes, and holy sites. It can also be used to make teas.
( * Although salvia apiana usually has a low germination rate of only 5%-10%, our customers have advised us that the rates are much higher with our locally sourced, fresh seeds. One customer advised us recently that she actually got a 100% strike rate from our salvia apiana seeds but we cannot guarantee this kind of rate with any seed as there are too many variables to raising seeds successfully. We have been so thrilled to hear from so many happy customers about the great germinations rates they are enjoying with these seeds and we look forward to hearing from you too.)
Caution: Do not use during pregnancy or lactation, as it may reduce milk production.
