Makes a great shade tree, wind-break or screen for nature strips and large areas, while attracting insects and nectar eating birds. It is hardy and ornamental but is also classified under the Sewage Act with restrictions so check your local laws before planting! Every part of the plant was used by Aboriginal peoples for day-to-day living including building shelter, tools and implements, food, swaddling, clothes, drinks, and more.
