Festuca Glauca 'Blue Fescue'-OTHER-seeds
FESTUCA GLAUCA 200 seeds
“Blue Fescue”
Family: Poaceae.
Sprouting: 14-42 days (Germination can take 8 weeks in winter).
Small and very popular in modern garden design, this becomes a clump forming European ornamental grass to 15cm. Noted for its finely-textured, steel-blue foliage that looks great in mass plantings.
It develops light green flowers tinged with purple that rise above the foliage in late spring-early summer to 30cm. The flowers are followed by attractive, wheat-like seed heads.
Will tolerate drought and dry or low nutrient soils but does prefer regular watering.
