Corymbia Torelliana 'Cadaghi'-TREE-seeds
CORYMBIA TORELLIANA “Cadaghi”
Family: Myrtaceae.
Sprouting: 14-90 days.
An evergreen tree to 30m with a dense, irregular crown. One of the few corymbias that thrive in rainforests. Several tropical countries cultivate Cadaghi for it’s strong timber. It is also popular for reforestation and as a quick-growing landscaping tree in parts of Australia. It is native to northeastern rainforest areas of Australia at elevations of 100-800m. Mature specimens can survive frost to -2C. Can become invasive if overplanted. Although a great shade tree, the shade they provide can be so complete that understory plants will die beneath them. Known to attract stingless bees from over 1km away.
