Corymbia Maculata-'Spotted Gum'-25 seeds AND husk
CORYMBIA MACULATA “Spotted Gum”
Family: Myrtaceae.
Sprouting: 7-42 days
Please note: Seed AND Husk are packed together on this item for seed health.
Prone to powdery mildew. Water under the leaf canopy in Winter to avoid this.
Although far too large for most suburban yards (up to 30m), this is a splendid choice for larger properties, parklands, and bushland areas. With creamy white flowers (in Winter-Spring) that are not as noticeable as other Corymbias, it is still very attractive to b1rds and its’ strong, spotted trunk is a wonderful display after old bark sheds in early Summer. The timber is strong and is commonly used for construction and for h0ney production. Frost tender but drought resistant, occurring mainly in New South Wales and SE Queensland.
