Corymbia Ficifolia "Red Flowering Gum" - (seeds and husk)-seeds

"One of around 80 eucalypts which were transferred from the genus Eucalyptus to the newly created genus Corymbia in 1995. The species was formerly known as Eucalyptus ficifolia.

It is one of the most popular of all eucalypts both in Australia and overseas. It often grows bigger and stronger in cultivation than in its natural habitat. It is best suited to temperate areas with low summer rainfall and humidity. While it can be grown in sub-tropical areas in well drained, sunny positions, it may not grow as reliably in those areas. It is usually moderately fast growing and can reach 15 metres but is often smaller. The leaves are dark, glossy green and the bark, which does not shed annually, is rough, and flowers in summer with any shade between pale cream, through pink, to red, orange or deep crimson.
