Chloris Truncata "Windmill Grass" Seeds
CHLORIS TRUNCATA “Windmill Grass”
1 scoop (approx 100 seeds) (While we have made every effort to hand-clean your seeds, these may contain small fragments of leaf and stick [as shown in the photo we have taken of the actual seeds we are selling you] due to the nature of these seeds).
Family: Poaceae
Sprouting: 7-35 days.
Short-lived (2-3 years) biennial grass that stands at 10-50cms high when mature. It likes spring rains to promote growth and is found in every state except Northern Territory.
Preferring to be sown at a depth below 25mm, they do not like to be pushed below 35cm. While it is known to be susceptible to frosts, it will grow in a range of soil types and colonise well. Applications of ph0sph@te (50 kg/ha) and su1fur (10 kg/ha) can significantly increase seed yield according to NSW Dpt of Primary Industries.
