Alternative common names: “Prickly Moses” and Dwarf Prickly Moses”
Widespread in eastern NSW as well as Queensland and Victoria. Shrub to 1m with needles approx.. 2.5cm long and round golden yellow flowers. Quite prickly, making it a habitat plant for small fauna and other lifeforms and areas that require protection. Effectively used for hedging and barriers. Delicate looking but tough and cold-hardy. Prefers sands to clay loams.
