With showy white flowers in large bunches, Angophora Costata is an attractive tree with smooth pink bark and gnarled branches. The bark sheds in large flakes during Spring with the new salm0n-pink bark turning to pale grey before shedding again the following year.
Widespread in New South Wales and Queensland, it is also drought and frost resistant, making it a popular tree in streets, parks, sports grounds, gardens, and reserves.
