Sprouting: Germination will take a few weeks.
Shrub to 4 m high. Leaves sharp tipped. and alternate up the stems, 8–14 cm long, 5–12 mm wide. Individual flowers with 5 petals. Flower spikes are red, 90–100 mm long, and around 50 mm in diameter. Flowers Spring to Summer.

Listing of vulnerable species is provided for by Part 2 of the Act.
The seeds we are supplying here were purchased from a trusted supplier in the West and not from any vulnerable sites that we are aware of. Growing these seeds may help to ensure the long-term preservation of this species in Australia for generations to come.
