NOTE: This is a large plant generally unsuitable for any but the largest gardens. 

Angophora floribunda, also known as the rough-barked apple, is a common tree reaching 30 m, native to woodland and forest  areas of Eastern Australia. It grows on alluvial soils on floodplains and along watercourses. 

It has fibrous bark and cream-white flowers that appear over summer. Trees have been known to live over 100 years attracts various species of flora and fauna as a safe-haven and host tree.

Widespread in New South Wales and Queensland, it is becoming a popular tree in streets, parks, sports grounds, gardens, and reserves.
