Bright red, very sweet cherry type fruit 20-40mm in long trusses. First fruit ripens at around 65 days with a long harvest period.

Does well in light to heavy soils with good drainage and high organic and phosphorus. Sensitive to frosts, matures early and suits temperate climates. Sow anytime in frost free areas, can sow indoors 5 weeks before transplanting in cooler areas or after last frost. Water in furrows rather than overhead to reduce disease, declines if waterlogged. Vigorous cluster-forming climber, best staked, disease resistant.  Suppresses couch grass.
