 Pink Brandywine type, flat fruit to 100mm.  Originated from the Andes and cultivated in Central America, introduced in 1925. Does well in light to heavy soils with good drainage and high organic and phosphorus. Sensitive to frosts, matures early and suits temperate climates. Sow anytime in frost free areas, can sow indoors 5 weeks before transplanting in cooler areas or after last frost. Water in furrows rather than overhead to reduce disease, declines if waterlogged. Vigorous bush, best staked, disease resistant.  Suppresses couch grass.  Great sandwich tomato with outstanding flavour.
