SWAINSONA FORMOSA     “Sturt’s Desert Pea”

Family: Fabaceae. 

Sprouting: 10-30 days @ 18-24°C

The floral emblem of South Australia is common in the arid regions of Australia and is one of Australia's best known wildflowers. A short-lived perennial, with a deep scarlet keel and wings with a dark red centre, it grows prostrate, producing single flowers in groups of 5 or 6 about 90mm long during warmer months.  Prefers a light to medium well-drained soil in an open sunny position, drought and frost resistant.

I don't normally respond to these reviews however this one is the exception.

My address was not compete when I filled the order in. It was 'returned to sender', one of your staff contacted me to complete the address and resend my seeds. With lots of delivery happening I think this little extra commitment to a customer is great!

I have recieved my Sturt's Desert Pea seeds......wish me luck with germination.
