A perennial sedge native to Western Australia.
typically grows to 2.6m. Blooms between September and December producing red-brown flowers. Commonly found around swamps and on the margins of lakes along coastal areas in the Mid West, Wheatbelt, Peel, South West, Great Southern and Goldfields-Esperance where it grows in damp black sandy soils. Drought tolerant.
Excellent for water features & is a great habitat plant for nesting b1rd life.
